Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe (born in America) is an American country and pop singer. She released two singles in 2007 and a full album entitled Satisfied. 2013 was the year she released her second album titled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe singing with Blake Shelton in 2015. Her album was released in 2015. The Blade, an album that earned her acclaim. Ashley Monroe works as the assistant village manager for Riverside Illinois. With over fifteen years' working experience, she's worked in various public positions including five years spent in Iowa City's city manager position as Deputy. In her role as the Assistant Village Director she oversees managing the Community Development and Building Department. This includes coordinating grant applications and finishing special projects. At Riverside Ashley supports everyday operations of the village's services, while also working towards the vision for strategic planning of elected officials as well as the entire community. Prior roles include municipal planning government communications budgeting the management of personnel and collective bargaining, with a focus on climate change initiatives. Because of her involvement with national organizations and work in communities that have populations of varying sizes, Ashley has gained insight on the complexities differences and similarities with the way public institutions function. Ashley's courses focus on modern methods of leadership and management in the public sector from a perspective of an experienced professional. She focuses on adapting the ethical and strategic choices to take advantage of today's opportunities and issues, as well as navigate intergovernmental relationships.
